When you enter one of the competitions promoted by WinnerWeb Limited ("WinnerWeb" or "the Promoter"), we may ask you for certain information and you may be required submit personal data to WinnerWeb. Such personal data is covered by this Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to read carefully. By entering our competitions and submitting your data to us, you agree to the uses described in this Privacy Policy (except where specific opt-in arrangements apply).

WinnerWeb is committed to the secure and careful handling of personal data.

Information Collected

We collect personal information from you through the use of enquiry and registration forms, and each time you either register to participate in one of our competitions or e-mail us your details.

We may also pass on some personal data to other companies within the WinnerWeb group to allow us to send you, via e-mail, telephone, SMS and post, details of special offers and promotions within our group.

We offer you the opportunity to opt-out of having your data used for marketing purposes not directly related to your competition entries, or from receiving unsolicited e-mail or other approaches from WinnerWeb or other companies in our group.

We will ask you to allow us to use your data to share with other third parties for marketing purposes. We will never share with third parties any sensitive personal data about you, nor will we share with third parties (except any involved in the credit card authentication and approvals process) your credit card details.

Our site links to other web sites and we are not responsible for the content on those sites or their data policies and procedures.

Use of cookies

We use "cookies" to identify you when you visit the site and to build up a profile of our regular users.

A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information back from the browser. Our use of cookies also allows us to provide you with a personalised version of the site.

We will only read cookies from your cookie file placed there through your web browser's interaction with the WinnerWeb site.

We use 128 bit encryption technology for the transmission from you to us of financially sensitive data (i.e. credit card details), but cannot guarantee the secure transmission to us of any other data that you send.

General Information

• Acceptance of any competition prize by the winner gives WinnerWeb, as the Promoter of the competition entered, the right to use the prize-winner's name, personal photograph and home country for promotional purposes, both immediately after their win and in the future, unless prohibited by law. The winner will also be required to provide, on acceptance of the prize, photographs for use in future marketing by the Promoter.
• Any personal data that you supply to the Promoter or authorise the Promoter to obtain from a third party, for example, a credit card company, will be used by the Promoter as described above under the section "use of personal information".
• In addition to the uses of data disclosed above, we may disclose personal data to: (i) any credit card company whose name you give; (ii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer any of the Promoter's rights and/or responsibilities under any agreement the Promoter may have with you; (iii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer its business or any part of it; (iv) comply with any legal or regulatory requirement of the Promoter in any country; and (v) prevent, detect or prosecute fraud and other crime.
• In order to process, use, record and disclose your personal data, we may need to transfer such information outside the United Kingdom, in which event we are responsible for ensuring that your personal data continues to be adequately protected during the course of such transfer.
